The short version

We talk for two minutes on the phone to see if this is a fit. If it is, we build you a demo site for free. You look at it. If you like it, you pay $297 a month and we build out the whole thing. If you do not like it, you walk away and you owe nothing. You can cancel any month. We do not promise you a set number of calls or jobs.

Who we are

Briksmart builds websites and lead-capture systems for home service businesses. When this page says "we" or "us" it means Briksmart. When it says "you" it means the person or business using our service. Questions go to austin@briksmart.com.

The free demo site

If you fill out our form, we call you for a couple of minutes to check that we are a good fit. If we are, we build you a demo site at no cost. Here is exactly what that is and is not:

• It is a real, working site built for your business, with your name, your services and the areas you serve.
• It starts from a template we made for your trade. It is a demo, not a finished custom website.
• It is free. You do not owe us anything for it and you are not signing up for anything.
• We may keep the demo online for a short time so you can look at it, then take it down.
• We build one demo per business.
• It comes after a short phone call. We do that so we are not building sites for people it was never going to suit, and so nobody sits through a half-hour meeting for nothing.

We can turn down a request. We might do that if the business is not a home service business, if the details look fake, or if we are backed up.

What you get for $297 a month

If you decide to move forward, the plan includes:

• A custom website covering every service you offer and every area you serve
• Your Google Business Profile connected to the site
• An automatic text back when a call is missed
• A chat widget that goes to your phone
• A review system that asks customers after a job
• Hosting, and fixes or changes whenever you ask

We aim to have the full site live 7 days after you send us what we need. If you are slow getting us photos or details, that clock moves.

Paying and cancelling

The plan is $297 a month in US dollars. Your card is charged when you sign up and then once a month after that. Nothing is charged before you have seen your demo and said yes.

There is no contract and no set term. You can cancel any month. Email us and we stop the next charge.

We do not refund a month that has already been charged, because the work and the hosting for that month are already done. If we charged you by mistake, tell us and we will fix it.

If a payment fails we will let you know. If it stays unpaid we may pause the site until it is sorted out.

What we need from you

To do this well we need a few things from you:

• Correct details about your business, your services and your service areas
• Photos of your work, or a note telling us you want us to use stock photos
• Access to your Google Business Profile so we can connect it to the site
• Answers when we ask you something, so the build does not stall

You are telling us you have the right to use anything you send us. If you send us a photo you do not own, that is on you, not on us.

Who owns what

You own your business name, your logo, your photos and your content. That stays yours the whole time and after.

We own the templates, the code and the systems we build with. While you are a paying customer you have full use of your site.

If you cancel, your site comes down. You keep your domain name and everything you sent us. If you want a copy of the site content to take somewhere else, ask and we will help.

Texts and phone calls

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we can call and text you about your demo and your site. Some of those texts are sent by an automatic system. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You can stop the texts any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to stop calling by telling us. Saying no to texts does not stop you from being a customer.

What we do not promise

This part matters, so it is in plain words:

• We do not promise you a set number of leads, calls, booked jobs, or any amount of money.
• We do not control Google. We connect your Google Business Profile to the site and we build the site properly, but nobody can promise a ranking.
• We do not control whether someone who visits your site decides to call you.
• What happened for another business is not a promise about what will happen for yours. Results are different for everyone.

Anything a customer says about us on our site is their own honest opinion about their own experience. It is not a promise about yours.

Things you agree not to do

• Use the site or our systems to break the law
• Send spam, or text people who never agreed to hear from you
• Copy our templates or code to build sites for other people
• Try to break into, overload or damage anything we run

If you do any of these we can stop the service.

If something goes wrong

We build and run this carefully, but we cannot promise the site is never down. Hosting, Google, and the tools we plug in are run by other companies and sometimes they have problems.

If we mess something up, what you can get back from us is limited to what you paid us in the last three months. We are not responsible for things like lost jobs, lost profit or lost data.

Some places do not allow limits like that. If yours does not, this section applies only as far as the law there allows.

Other people's services

Your site and systems use other companies, including hosting, a CRM and messaging tools, and Google services. Their own terms apply to their part of it. We pick them carefully but we do not run them.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page. If we change something that matters, we will email current customers. If you keep using the service after that, you are agreeing to the new version. The date at the top always tells you the current one.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
